Job summary

The Sterling Choice is recruiting a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive Lean, TPM and Six Sigma across multiple manufacturing sites in Kent. This hybrid role requires regular site access and a data-driven approach to deliver safety, quality and productivity gains.

You will coach teams, implement improvement initiatives and develop standard tools and training materials, reporting on progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPM.
• Proven track record of delivering CI and Kaizen initiatives.
• Analytical and data-driven problem solving with structured approach.
• Experience coaching and influencing teams at all levels.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Power BI and ERP systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Continuous Improvement initiatives across multiple sites.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost and customer service.
• Embed Lean, TPM and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyse operational data to identify opportunities and support teams in solutions.
• Develop and deliver CI plans aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct assessments and identify opportunities using data-driven approaches.
• Deliver Lean and TPM training, coaching and mentoring across levels.
• Facilitate Kaizen activities and share best practices across sites.
• Develop CI tools, standards and training materials and report progress.
