Job summary

The Sterling Choice is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support operational improvements across multiple manufacturing sites in Kent. This hybrid role requires regular site access and collaboration with operational teams to embed Lean, TPM and Six Sigma methodologies.

You will analyze performance data, coach teams, and drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity and cost, delivering measurable results and building long-term capabilities across the site network.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in CI/Process or Manufacturing Engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and TPM.
• Experience with TPM across Focused Improvement, Autonomous Maintenance, Training & Education, Quality Maintenance or Supply Chain.
• Track record of delivering CI and Kaizen initiatives.
• Analytical, data-driven problem solving and good stakeholder management.
• Experience coaching and influencing teams at all levels.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good knowledge of Office applications; Power BI desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of CI initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost and service.
• Embed Lean, TPM and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyze performance data to identify opportunities and support teams in implementing solutions.
• Develop and deliver CI plans aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct assessments and identify opportunities using data-driven approaches.
• Coach colleagues in structured problem solving and corrective action.
• Deliver Lean and TPM training, coaching and mentoring.
• Facilitate Kaizen activities across sites.
• Develop CI tools, standards and training materials.
