Job summary

Polaris Community is seeking a Content Writer to join our marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. The role is hybrid, with 35 hours per week and occasional travel to Bromsgrove.

You will create high-quality, SEO-friendly content across websites, blogs, PRs, case studies and campaigns, collaborating with SEO colleagues, managers, designers and subject matter experts. The successful candidate will turn research and real-life stories into engaging content that supports our brands

Qualifications

• Proven experience in content writing or an SEO-focused role.
• Strong English writing, editing and proofreading.
• Solid SEO knowledge and keyword research.
• Ability to adapt content for different brands and audiences.
• Experience with CMS like WordPress.
• Portfolio of published content available.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality content for websites, blogs, landing pages, campaigns, social media and other marketing channels
• Produce SEO-optimised content informed by keyword research, search intent and SEO best practices
• Review and improve existing website content to maintain accuracy, relevance and search performance
• Research industry topics and audience trends to develop authoritative and engaging content
• Write case studies, articles, press releases and other PR and media-facing content
• Work with colleagues and subject matter experts to develop stories and content ideas
• Adapt your writing style for different audiences, brands and tones of voice
• Upload, edit and maintain content within CMS platforms
• Collaborate with the wider marketing team to support integrated campaigns and identify new content opportunities
• Monitor content performance and developments in SEO and the wider industry to continually improve our approach
