Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of construction projects across Thames Valley sites, including Reading and Newbury. You will manage scope-to-handover for projects ranging from £30k to £2m, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires driving contractor performance, coordinating inductions, and reporting against budget and programme.

Qualifications

• Hold a HND/HNC/BEng/NVQ Level 4 in Construction Management or equivalent, or strong relevant background.
• Strong construction or facilities management experience.
• Experience scoping construction projects from conception to procurement.

Responsibilities

• Independently scope and deliver projects, working with Operational Specialists.
• Manage end-to-end tender process, contractor selection and award.
• Ensure CDM and health & safety compliance, acting as Client and overseeing designers and contractors.
• Forecast and report project expenditure, manage risks and governance.
