Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major wastewater infrastructure programmes in the Thames Valley. You will act as the client-side leader, guiding complex, high-value capital schemes from concept to completion and shaping investment decisions.

You'll work with industry experts, delivery partners and stakeholders, building strong teams, ensuring safety, quality and value for money, and driving performance across the portfolio worth roughly £250 million.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure, utility, engineering or built environment projects on behalf of a client organisation.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline, with PM qualifications (PMQ/APM).

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of complex wastewater infrastructure projects and programmes.
• Manage full lifecycle from concept through handover (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to project professionals.
• Lead commercial and contract management activities.
• Ensure governance, compliance and assurance throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive safety culture and maintain high quality standards.
