Job summary

The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in sourcing construction materials, managing full procurement lifecycles, and maintaining supplier relationships. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, tracking costs, and ensuring compliance with internal policies. Candidates pursuing CIPS Level 3 or with CIOB membership are preferred. Qualifications

• Proven experience in a construction or project-based procurement role.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of negotiation processes.
• Experience managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials in line with project specifications.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost and delivery metrics.

Skills

Understanding of UK construction supply chain

Negotiation skills

Proactive and organized

Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts

Familiarity with logistics and site-based constraints

Education

CIPS Level 3 (Advanced Certificate)
