Job summary

Slough Borough Council is seeking a Social Work Assistant for the East Locality to support residents through holistic assessments, care planning and timely responses to enquiries. You will identify risks, promote wellbeing and help create personalised, strengths-based plans that keep people connected and as independent as possible.

The role requires experience in a social care environment, strong communication, IT and relationship-building skills, and the ability to record information clearly

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a social care environment with vulnerable people.
• Strong communication, IT and relationship-building skills.
• Confident speaking with residents, carers and partners; able to record information clearly under pressure.
