Job summary

Tiny Lives, based in Newcastle, is seeking a passionate Community & Events Fundraiser to grow community fundraising income and deliver engaging events that connect supporters with the charity’s mission.

You’ll build relationships with individuals, schools, community groups and local organisations, helping supporters achieve their fundraising goals while ensuring they feel valued and connected. The role includes supporting flagship events and creating memorable supporter experiences.

Qualifications

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating events, projects or engagement activities.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Proactive and creative approach to achieving targets.
• Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent supporter experiences.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow community fundraising income and deliver engaging events.
• Build relationships with individuals, schools, community groups and local organisations.
• Support supporters to achieve fundraising ambitions and ensure they feel valued and connected to the mission.
• Deliver flagship events and maximise fundraising opportunities, e.g., Great North Run participation, galas and family-focused events.
