Action Together in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Community Development Worker for Tameside to strengthen social infrastructure and empower local VCFSE organisations. You will assist residents to turn ideas into action and provide development support, networking spaces and training to communities.

The role is hybrid, involves engaging with local stakeholders, promoting the charity’s work, and helping people feel connected and proud to live in Tameside.

• Understanding of community development and inclusive approaches.

Responsibilities

• Support Tameside communities to turn ideas into action and strengthen local voluntary and VCSE organisations.
• Provide organisational development support, networking spaces and training.
• Connect people to community activities and promote work of the VCFSE sector with local stakeholders.
