Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking an experienced Commercial Property & Asset Manager to take ownership of a diverse commercial property portfolio. Based in London with hybrid working, you will manage lettings, renewals, rent reviews and arrears, while driving occupancy, service charges, compliance and performance reporting.

You will build strong stakeholder relationships, procure agents and contractors, and identify opportunities to increase income and deliver social value for communities.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial property management experience.
• Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant matters, lease events and arrears collection.
• Experience managing service charges and property compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, arrears recovery and other landlord and tenant matters.
• Maximise occupancy and ensure strong rent collection performance.
• Manage service charges, insurance recharges and business rates.
• Oversee maintenance, compliance and property inspections.
• Procure and manage agents, consultants and contractors.
• Maintain accurate property data and performance reporting.
• Prepare reports and papers for senior leadership and governance groups.
• Identify opportunities to increase income, reduce costs and deliver social value.
