Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking an experienced Commercial Property & Asset Manager to take ownership of a diverse commercial property portfolio. Based in London with hybrid working, you will manage lettings, renewals, rent reviews and arrears, while driving occupancy, service charges, compliance and performance reporting.

You will build strong stakeholder relationships, procure agents and contractors, and identify opportunities to increase income and deliver social value for communities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

At Southern Housing, our commercial property portfolio plays an important role in generating income that helps us invest in homes, services and communities. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property & Asset Manager to join our Commercial Assets Team and take ownership of the day‑to‑day management and performance of a diverse commercial property portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded property professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, negotiating successful outcomes and driving portfolio performance. You will play a key role in protecting and growing income, ensuring compliance, managing lease events and delivering excellent asset management standards across our commercial properties.

In this role you will be responsible for the effective management of Southern Housing's commercial property portfolio, ensuring assets are occupied, income is protected and obligations are met.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

• Manage lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, arrears recovery and other landlord and tenant matters.

This role is based in our London (Farringdon Station) office and offers hybrid working as agreed with your Line Manager. It will be beneficial if you have a valid DL and access to a car for business use for any site visits when require.
