Job summary

Footasylum is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to help protect our digital platforms across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and endpoints. You will work closely with Infrastructure, Platform, Engineering, Development, and Operations teams to embed security into everything we do and to drive our DevSecOps journey.

The role emphasizes Zero Trust adoption, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security automation within a fast-paced retail tech environment in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cyber security engineering across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Strong understanding of security architectures and modern cyber security principles.
• Experience with security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise security solutions across cloud, infrastructure, applications and endpoints.
• Develop security standards, controls and architectures; drive Zero Trust adoption.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead vulnerability management, threat detection improvements and incident response activities.
