Job summary

Capital on Tap is expanding its Cloud Platform team to scale a global engineering effort. You will lead by example in hands-on cloud and platform engineering, driving reliability, security, and best practices across Azure-based environments.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, removing bottlenecks, and accelerating delivery with a focus on AI-assisted initiatives and cross-functional collaboration with PMs, EMs and QA.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud/platform engineering teams.
• Strong ability to mentor engineers and drive improvement.
• Proven track record in scalable, reliable cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement across the team.
• Remove bottlenecks and sustain high engagement for delivery.
• Drive AI adoption from day-to-day ops to major projects.
• Lead hands-on cloud/platform engineering across environments.
• Define platform engineering best practices for scalability and security.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering Managers and QA to align strategy.
