Job summary

Scale AI is seeking an Infrastructure Software Engineer for the Apps Platform in London. You will help build deployment and observability layers across CSPs and on‑prem, shaping a cloud-agnostic platform and pipelines for internal and customer-managed environments.

You will collaborate with teams to understand their usage, debug issues, and drive a roadmap balancing immediate needs with long‑term architecture, including leading end-to-end projects and architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and deploying enterprise and public sector solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and on-premises.
• Deep expertise in infrastructure design, networking engineering, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
• CI/CD pipelines and software delivery using GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Experience with GitOps-style deployments and repeatable deployments.

Responsibilities

• Expand deployment footprint to cover on-premise, major cloud platforms and beyond.
• Ensure fast, secure, and reproducible deployments across all CSPs and on-prem.
• Expand observability so teams can operate customer deployments efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs, debugging issues and building tooling.
• Respond to incidents with root-cause analysis and preventive fixes.
• Help develop a roadmap for deployment and observability.
• Lead architecture reviews and own end-to-end projects.
