Job summary

Scale AI in London is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer for the Apps Platform. You will help build and evolve deployment and observability layers across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and on‑prem, delivering cloud‑agnostic infrastructure and robust deployment pipelines.

You will partner with internal teams to understand usage, debug issues, and shape a roadmap balancing immediate needs with long‑term architecture. Expect cross‑functional collaboration and end‑to‑end ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience deploying enterprise and public sector solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and on‑prem.
• Deep expertise in infrastructure design, networking, VPNs, load balancers and firewalls.
• Extensive IaC, containerisation and orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker).
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or CircleCI; GitOps deployments.
• Proven ability to deliver repeatable deployments and manage production readiness.
• Excellent debugging skills and ability to balance performance and security tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Expand deployment footprint across on‑prem, cloud platforms, and multi‑cloud environments.
• Ensure fast, secure, reproducible deployments across CSPs and on‑prem.
• Enhance observability to enable scalable customer deployments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and build tooling.
• Lead architecture reviews and own projects end‑to‑end from design to deployment.
