Job summary

Vodafone VOIS is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Developer Platform Lead to provide technical leadership for our cloud infrastructure and internal developer platform capabilities. The role combines hands-on engineering with platform ownership to enable reliable, secure and AI‑native software delivery across multiple engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Experience leading cloud or platform engineering delivery within a technical team.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code, automation and cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience building or operating Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) supporting multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure and internal developer platform engineering within a platform capability or engineering domain.
• Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure and internal developer platform capabilities.
• Deliver self-service platform capabilities that enhance developer productivity and reduce engineering friction.
• Own infrastructure‑as‑code, automated provisioning, platform automation and engineering environments.
• Translate cloud architecture strategies into implementation plans and engineering roadmaps.
• Build and maintain reliable, secure and self‑service engineering environments.
• Drive automation across provisioning, deployment, testing, observability and operational processes.
