Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerised applications.
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services, networking, identity, and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience implementing and managing observability platforms using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.
• Proven track record improving system availability, performance, and reliability in production environments.
• Strong skills in automation and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Experience in solving problems and troubleshooting, owning incidents and problems through to root cause.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate highly reliable and scalable systems using OpenShift and Azure.
• Implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and infrastructure improvements using GitHub Actions, Argo CD and Tekton.
• Support the observability stack, including metrics, logging, dashboards, and alerting using Prometheus, Loki, Grafana and ServiceNow.
• Coordinate incident response efforts, assisting with root cause analysis, and drive long-term corrective strategies.
• Identify reliability risks and create plans to eliminate operational bottlenecks through automation and engineering improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable services and maintain documentation and diagrams.
• Influence infrastructure and platform roadmap decisions through data and best-practice guidance.
• Work with Agile framework (Sprints and cadences) using Jira and Confluence.
