Job summary

Hyra is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer near Birmingham to shape, modernise and optimise Microsoft Azure and Fabric platforms. You will build a scalable, resilient environment with greater automation and cost awareness.

The role supports a data-driven transformation and close collaboration with wider stakeholders. You will influence technical standards, work hands-on, and help establish foundations for long-term change across technology and services, with a hybrid working pattern in central

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric administration and governance.
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure and enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of cloud security, monitoring, resilience and cost optimization.
• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code or modern deployment tooling.
• Ability to work with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to evolving technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the organisation's Microsoft Azure and Fabric platforms to be more scalable and efficient.
• Introduce automation and infrastructure as code to optimise delivery.
• Improve platform performance and governance to support transformation goals.
• Establish infrastructure and operational practices for Fabric data capabilities.
• Influence technical standards and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
