Job summary

Bestway Healthcare UK is seeking a Cloud Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to join its IT Infrastructure team, supporting our on-premises datacentres and Azure cloud stack. You will help maintain security, resilience and scalability while driving automation and IaC across the estate.

You will lead the implementation of Azure services, manage Windows Server environments, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver infrastructure improvements. An on-call rota is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing hybrid on-prem/cloud environments.
• Strong Azure knowledge (networking, storage, VMs, security).
• Windows Server administration experience.
• Solid networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Experience with virtualised/enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and enhance hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Implement and manage infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, networks, storage and associated services.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues using structured root cause analysis.
• Maintain high levels of infrastructure security through patching, vulnerability remediation and access controls.
• Support disaster recovery, backup and business continuity capabilities across the estate.
• Drive automation and standardisation through scripting, Infrastructure as Code and repeatable deployment practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and technology partners to deliver infrastructure improvements and projects.
• Participate in an on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support when required.
