Job summary

iGo Recruitment is recruiting qualified healthcare professionals (RGN, RMN, RNLD, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, Pharmacist) for Hybrid Functional Assessor roles in Luton. You will assess PIP and WCA needs using your clinical expertise, reviewing medical evidence and producing structured reports for the Department for Work and Pensions.

The role is non-treatment and weekday‑based. The permanent hybrid position combines home and Luton centre work, with typical hours 9am–5pm,

Qualifications

• Current registration with the relevant UK regulator (NMC, HCPC or GPhC) as applicable.
• At least 12 months of post-registration clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and clear evidence-based reporting.
• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screening including Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Review medical evidence and complete structured assessments.
• Conduct interviews using structured questioning and apply clinical judgement.
• Produce clear, concise, evidence-based reports for the DWP.
• Work in a hybrid setup between home and the Luton assessment centre.
• Ensure reports do not involve hands-on treatment or medical decisions.
