Job summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking an Associate to join our client management team. You will back up Relationship Managers, handle onboarding for new clients, manage data, and ensure compliance across KYC and structuring processes. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, client‑focused environment where accuracy matters.

The role requires working in the office four days a week with some flexibility for remote work up to one day per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of KYC/CDD and understanding of company and trust structures.
• Meticulous attention to detail; errors won’t be tolerated.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Elevate client experiences by supporting Relationship Managers and ensure smooth, compliant onboarding.
• Review and verify all KYC documentation, RBC forms, and IRS paperwork; liaise with teams and clients to close gaps.
• Navigate complex structures for companies, trusts, and charities; manage change requests with precision.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance by collating and reviewing documentation before handover to specialists.
• Keep systems up-to-date by updating client information in the CRM promptly.
