Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Systems Engineer in the Bristol area with Hybrid working (3 days on site). The successful candidate will work on defence, nuclear, aerospace and related projects, delivering across the full systems engineering lifecycle, supported by structured training and progression plans.

The role offers £50,000–£60,000 plus a bonus, with hybrid arrangements and opportunities toward chartership and INCOSE accreditation, plus cover for training and development

Qualifications

• Systems Engineering experience across one or more lifecycle stages.
• Background in defence, nuclear, aerospace or another complex engineering environment.
• Comfortable resolving ambiguity and communicating with clients and technical stakeholders.
• DOORS, MBSE, SysML, MODAF or similar tools and approaches beneficial.
• Technical degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-facing Systems Engineering across complex, regulated programmes.
• Support concept development, requirements, architecture, modelling and analysis.
• Contribute to integration, validation, qualification and acceptance activities.
• Take ownership of technical work packages, planning and stakeholder coordination.
• Work across defence, nuclear, space and utilities projects.
