Job summary

The Oyster Partnership Ltd. is seeking a Client Accountant to join its expanding finance team in Soho, London. You will deliver accurate client accounting across a varied property portfolio, ensuring compliance and providing high-quality reporting while building strong relationships with clients and managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in client accounting for property portfolios and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in producing reports, reconciliations, and year-end information.
• Knowledge of property management systems such as Qube, TRAMPS, Yardi, MRI, Horizon.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain client accounting records across a varied property portfolio.
• Produce monthly and quarterly client reports, including income/ expenditure statements and balance sheets.
• Manage rent and service charge accounting with timely recording of transactions.
• Reconcile client bank accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and year-end accounts.
• Liaise with managers, clients, auditors and stakeholders on financial queries.
• Monitor arrears, cash positions and client balances; provide reporting/analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, RICS regulations and procedures.
