Job summary

WSP is expanding its Civil & Structural Engineering team across the Energy Transmission & Distribution sector in the UK, inviting engineers at all levels to contribute to landmark electricity infrastructure projects.

You will work within multidisciplinary teams, delivering civil and structural design from feasibility through to construction support, with increasing responsibility in delivery, leadership and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of civil/structural engineering principles.
• Experience in Energy, Power, Utilities or Infrastructure sectors preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to engineering excellence, quality and Safety in Design.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil and structural design services across major Energy T&D projects.
• Design reinforced concrete foundations, structural steelwork and buildings.
• Support or lead design of substations and HVDC converter stations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and deliver technical reports.
