About the Role

We are currently recruiting a talented Civil Engineer to join one of the UK's leading engineering consultancies on a temporary basis. This is a flexible location role with options to be based in any of the client's key regional offices across the UK, offering a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will work on a wide range of exciting and complex building design and infrastructure projects, contributing to international schemes. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering practical, sustainable, and innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the delivery of small to medium infrastructure and building design projects.
2. Design in accordance with UK codes and standards (including drainage, utilities, access roads, pavements, and logistics).
3. Collaborate across multiple disciplines and regions.
4. Comply with BIM standards and contribute to the Digital Plan of Work.
5. Manage your own workload effectively within project timelines.

Requirements

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or HND with equivalent experience.
2. Working towards ICE Chartership.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (Revit/BIM 360 experience desirable).
4. Understanding of UK design standards.
5. Previous experience in the buildings sector.
