VIQU Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Network Engineer to support and develop a large public sector network infrastructure. You will own network operations, drive improvements, and deliver robust cloud and on-premises connectivity.

Key focus areas include Cisco networking, SD-WAN, VLANs, routing, Azure/AWS, and security monitoring. The role requires eligibility for security vetting and a proven ability to work across stakeholders and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Cisco network engineering experience.
• Experience in large, complex IT environments.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, VLANs, and routing.
• Experience with cloud networking (Azure/AWS) and security tooling.
• Eligible for security vetting.

Responsabilités

• Support, maintain and improve physical and virtual network infrastructure.
• Configure, troubleshoot and optimise Cisco networking environments.
• Contribute to network design, implementation and technical documentation.
• Support SD-WAN, VLANs, routing and cloud networking technologies.
• Monitor network performance, security and service availability.
• Analyse business requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Identify infrastructure risks and implement mitigations.
• Work with technical architects, stakeholders and suppliers.
• Ensure networking solutions meet compliance and service standards.
• Drive continuous improvement across network infrastructure.
