Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a CDD Operations Analyst to join the Enterprise EMEA team in Gateshead. You will conduct due diligence on new enterprise relationships, assess risks, and guide onboarding within the established governance framework.

You will also perform ongoing reviews, identify emerging risks, and collaborate with Compliance, Audit, and Relationship Managers to ensure robust controls and timely decision-making in a fast-paced payments environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in CDD, KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance within financial services, payments, or a regulated industry.
• Able to work in the office in a hybrid model 3 days per week.
• Proficiency in conducting screening and risk assessments for PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, investigate concerns, and manage cases through to resolution.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including experience influencing decision-making in a control-focused environment.
• Attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to balance efficiency with high quality output.
• Pro‑active and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• CDD & EDD reviews for new enterprise relationships.
• Screening for PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media.
• Ongoing monitoring of existing enterprise customer relationships.
• Prepare reports detailing findings, risks and recommendations.
• Maintain clear audit-ready case records.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Compliance, Audit, and other teams within the control framework.
