Job summary

Legal & General is recruiting a Technical CASS Analyst to support CASS oversight, assist with the annual external CASS audit, and maintain a robust client asset control environment.

The role involves MI reporting, CMAR returns, and remediation of breaches within Asset Management, working with the CASS team to strengthen controls across the business. Flexible working options are available to suit your needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in MI, risk, oversight or regulatory compliance role.
• Understanding of FCA CASS requirements.
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and assessing controls and processes.
• Familiarity with FCA framework for ISAs, investments and pensions.

Responsibilities

• Providing timely and accurate CASS reporting and MI to support oversight and escalation of risks.
• Collating monthly FCA CMAR, annual stratification survey and ad hoc FCA/FOS/FSCS requests.
• Supporting information provision in respect of CASS matters within legal entities.
• Taking action on material breaches, issues or trends.
• Supporting CASSROC administration including papers and MI.
• Contributing to the CASS Assurance Plan through testing and reporting of controls.
• Supporting external audits, including annual CASS audit and remediation of breaches.
• Building relationships with business areas to improve controls.
• Monitoring effectiveness of CASS-related systems and outsourced arrangements.
