Job summary

Johnston Carmichael is seeking an experienced CASS Audit Senior or Supervisor to join its expanding Financial Services assurance team. Location is flexible across the UK, within reasonable commuting distance of a Johnston Carmichael office.

You will lead CASS engagements from planning to completion, working with FCA regulated firms including fintechs, wealth managers and investment firms, and develop specialist expertise with support from a high-growth team.

Qualifications

• CA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Audit experience in practice.
• Knowledge of Financial Services and FCA regulated businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead CASS audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Deliver assignments to budget, deadline and quality expectations.
• Coach and support junior team members.
• Identify and resolve audit and regulatory issues.
• Prepare robust, review-ready audit files.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CASS and FCA requirements.
• Support business development and identify opportunities with existing clients.
