Job summary

Hampshire County Council's Care Leavers teams are looking for Personal Advisers to support young people aged 16-25 as they transition to independent living. You will manage a caseload, organise visits, and complete administrative work within a hybrid working framework.

You will mentor and coach to empower positive choices, liaise with partner agencies, and work across offices, home, and on the move. Strong IT record-keeping and compassionate teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building relationships with young people aged 16-25 and working with partner agencies.
• Clear understanding of needs and challenges faced by care leavers.
• Patience, empathy and compassion in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of young people aged 16-25 and plan visits with administrative duties.
• Mentor and coach to help individuals reach their potential and liaise with partner agencies.
• Work in a hybrid model across offices, home and on the move; perform risk assessments.
