Job summary

Joma Jewellery and Katie Loxton are seeking a Buying Manager to shape the buying strategy across both brands, leading seasonal planning and category performance while delivering commercially successful collections.

You will lead and develop the Buying team, collaborating with Product Design, Merchandising and suppliers to ensure ranges reflect brand direction and customer needs, with a hybrid office presence in Banbury and flexible working.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or Buying Manager in retail jewellery/accessories/ fashion.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in product range development and margin delivery.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Experience in leading and developing aBuying team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the agreed buying strategy across allocated brands and categories.
• Develop and manage seasonal buying plans in line with budgets and range requirements.
• Lead supplier negotiations to improve costs, margins and performance.
• Oversee product range development ensuring brand identity and customer value.
• Manage critical path and ensure on-time delivery of collections.
• Coach and develop the Buying team and maintain cross-functional collaboration.
