Job summary

Joma Jewellery & Katie Loxton in Banbury is seeking a creative Junior Buyer to shape new collections across our fashion and lifestyle brands. Working with Buying Manager, Design and Merchandising, you’ll turn trends into commercial ranges for B2B and B2C channels.

You’ll manage supplier relationships, support seasonal range planning, and oversee product development from concept to sign-off, balancing price, quality and lead times.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Buyer or Junior Buyer in fashion/jewellery retail.
• Strong commercial awareness and trend sense.
• Ability to interpret sales data and pricing structures.
• Organised with excellent time management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Buying Manager in developing and delivering seasonal product ranges aligned with brand identity.
• Identify new product opportunities through trend forecasting and market insights.
• Collaborate with Design and Merchandising to develop briefs and balanced ranges.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate product costs within budget.
• Coordinate product sampling, approvals and timely launches against critical paths.
• Maintain buying documentation including option plans and pricing calculations.
• Work with PR, Marketing, Web and Retail teams to ensure successful launches.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
