Job summary

Gowling WLG is seeking a Business Development Executive in Birmingham to support Senior BD Managers and contribute to the Real Estate Group and Sector initiatives. The role combines analytical work with client-facing activities and requires collaboration with partners and lawyers across the firm.

The successful candidate will be proactive, with strong organisational skills, and comfortable working in a hybrid setting with travel to London occasionally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a hybrid, law firm environment.
• Experience in law or professional services desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior BD Managers in business development initiatives for the Real Estate Group and Sector.
• Analyse financial data, identify trends and highlight key insights.
• Prepare outputs under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborate with partners and lawyers to drive client development activities.
• Contribute to the firm's BD function with proactive initiatives.
