Job summary

Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a Business Development Executive to join the team in a developmental, commercially minded role. You will work with experienced managers and technical specialists to identify opportunities, build relationships, and support growth campaigns.

The role offers exposure across Aerospace, Marine, Pilot Controls and Simulation, with on-site work at Bristol and travel as required. UK Security Clearance (SC) eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a business development, sales, account management, marketing, or customer-facing commercial role.
• Experience using CRM systems and producing business reports.
• Experience in the aerospace, defence, marine, or engineering sectors is desirable.
• Experience supporting bid activities, proposals, or customer solution development is desirable.
• Experience attending or supporting trade shows, exhibitions, or industry events is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting business development activities across Aerospace, Marine, Pilot Controls and Simulation sectors.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through market research, customer engagement, and industry networking.
• Supporting strategic account management activities and customer growth plans.
• Assisting with business development campaigns, customer visits, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
• Working closely with technical and commercial teams to help develop customer solutions and proposals.
• Maintaining accurate sales pipeline and customer information within CRM systems.
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify future opportunities.
• Representing Stirling Dynamics professionally as an ambassador for the business in the UK and internationally.
