Job summary

Morningstar Credit Ratings, LLC is seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to help grow our Dutch and Belgian business. You will identify and qualify opportunities, conduct market research, support prospect outreach, and help build pipeline across asset managers, banks, and financial institutions.

You will work with experienced sales professionals to develop enterprise sales processes and learn ESG and regulatory solutions.

Qualifications

• Interest in prospecting, research, and lead generation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders.
• Proactive self-starter, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Interest in ESG, sustainable finance.
• English and Dutch fluency (essential).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales support, business development, inside sales, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Support territory and account planning activities.
• Generate and qualify new business opportunities.
• Conduct prospecting and outreach campaigns.
• Maintain CRM data and pipeline reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Consulting, and Client Success teams.
• Contribute to pipeline generation and market development across Belgium and the Netherlands.
