Job summary

Stonegate Group is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business and IT within our IT & Digital Transformation team. The role involves defining scope, capturing requirements end-to-end and collaborating with stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers.

The position requires travel to our Head Office in Monkspath every two weeks and living within a reasonable commute of Solihull. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and help deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Experience within a Business Analyst role.
• Experience in fast-paced change or transformation projects.
• Understanding of project lifecycles, governance and delivery processes.
• Evidence of working within structured project governance.
• Experience capturing and managing requirements.
• Experience supporting UAT and solution delivery.
• Confidence in data mapping and process modelling workshops.
• Strong stakeholder management and adaptable communication.
• Continuous-improvement mindset to remove inefficiencies.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proactive, self-sufficient with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and changing requirements.
• Collaborative with technical teams and third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support the definition of project requirements, scope and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
• Capture, analyse, validate and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create end-to-end process models, including As-Is and To-Be processes.
• Analyse processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation and cost reduction.
• Support UAT and develop user documentation.
• Work with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Use digital and AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve efficiency and maintain confidentiality.
• Support strategic decision making through scenario analysis and evidence-based recommendations.
• Assess and design human-AI workflows with governance and accountability.
