Essex County Council’s Place Services is seeking an Assistant Built Heritage Consultant in Chelmsford for a permanent, full-time, hybrid role. You will support the effective technical delivery of our built heritage specialism across our operating area, working from the Chelmsford office at least one day a week.

Reporting to the Principal Built Heritage Consultant, you will assist in conservation advice to local planning authorities, input into Heritage Statements and assessments, and contribute

Qualificações

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation, allied with confident and professional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with demonstrable awareness of good client service.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in provision of conservation advice to local planning authorities.
• Input into Built Heritage Statements and Heritage Impact Assessments.
• Input to Conservation Area Appraisals and other project work.
• Assist in delivering a varied workload across our regional operating area.
