Job summary

Fulkers Bailey Russell is seeking a dedicated Building Surveyor to join our construction consultancy’s Public Sector team, covering healthcare, blue light, education and local government projects. The role offers hybrid working with on-site visits as needed, supporting project success and work-life balance.

You’ll work with Senior Building Surveyors and Associates to oversee projects end-to-end, ensuring quality, safety and budget compliance while delivering high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification (RICS-accredited or equivalent).
• Chartered or working towards RICS chartership.
• Strong technical grounding across core building surveying areas.
• Client-focused mindset with drive to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as Contract Administrator/Employers Agent when required.
• Prepare project design and specifications.
• Manage projects of various sizes and complexity.
• Undertake surveys and site inspections.
• Prepare tender documentation and evaluations.
• Provide contractual advice pre- and post-contract.
