Job summary

South Lakes Housing is seeking a full-time Building Surveyor to carry out surveys on our properties. The role is 37 hours per week with a salary up to £43,609 per year and a benefits package worth up to £5,000 annually.

You'll lead on complex surveys including structural, mould and damp issues, and support adaptations and customer alterations to achieve Customer First outcomes. Closing date is 30 October 2026 at 9am. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in building surveys for housing associations or social housing is advantageous.
• Ability to manage complex surveys and deliver Customer First outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex surveys, including structural, mould and damp issues.
• Assist with adaptations and customer alterations.
• Help determine the right Customer First outcomes.
