Job summary

Mecsia is seeking a Group Bid Manager who can run complex bids end-to-end and craft winning content. The role involves planning responses, shaping win themes, coordinating with SMEs and ensuring compliant, commercially sound submissions.

You will also contribute content for the website and social media and manage a Group bid library. You will report to the Group Head of Bids and work across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years managing end-to-end bids, including complex opportunities with several workstreams.
• Proven track record of winning submissions through commercial and public sector procurement.
• Experience shaping qualification decisions, win strategy and solution development.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability to make technical detail clear and persuasive.
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for design.
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint, plus working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
• Good understanding of website, press and social media content.

Responsibilities

• Own each bid from qualification to handover, planning the response and shaping win themes.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather necessary inputs.
• Ensure submissions are compliant, commercially sound and well written.
• Create content for the website, social media and thought leadership.
• Build and maintain a bid library for the Group.
