Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a BI Developer to join the Estates Intelligence team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on building and maintaining the Reporting Data Warehouse, creating BI datasets, and driving data-driven insights for estates and facilities projects.

Hybrid work with 3 days in Swindon. You will develop ML algorithms in Fabric Notebooks, implement SQL data transformations, and configure data pipelines and governance across Dev/Test/Prod environments.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills using SSMS/Visual Studio.
• Proficient in Python with Fabric Notebooks.
• Experience with Power BI Desktop & Service, Fabric features.
• DevOps experience: build, release, deployment.
• Web development and .NET app knowledge.
• Analytical skills to produce client reports.
• Clear presentation of findings to diverse audiences.
• Familiar with CAFM systems like Concept Evolution.
• Estate reporting experience in similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML algorithms within Fabric Notebooks environment.
• Implement SQL queries, stored procedures and views for data transformations.
• Develop Power BI datasets, DAX measures and calculation logic.
• Configure and manage refresh schedules and gateway connections.
• Tune model performance and validate data across reports.
• Document test results and remedy defects promptly.
• Prepare release notes and update technical documentation.
• Promote changes through Dev/Test/Prod environments.
• Monitor daily pipeline runs and troubleshoot failures.
• Suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and maintainability.
• Track Power BI and Fabric features and adopt best practices.
