Johnston Carmichael in Scotland is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Corporate Audit team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. You will lead audit engagements for designated clients, coach the audit team, ensure deadlines and budgets are met, and review files to a high standard.

The role requires CA qualification with several years post-qualification experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience in supervising staff and on-site audit teams. IFRS/FRS102 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified CA (or equivalent) with several years post-qualification experience.
• Experience leading on-site audit teams.
• Experience supervising or managing staff.
• Strong technical knowledge of FRS102; IFRS experience advantageous.

• Plan and manage audit work for clients to deliver timely, high-quality results.
• Coach and train the audit team to develop skills and capabilities.
• Ensure deadlines and budgets are met and the audit file is reviewed.
• Provide high-level technical and planning advice to clients.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and act as a principal contact for larger clients.
