Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking an experienced procurement leader to manage strategic sourcing across professional, corporate, marketing, client services, and HR spend. You will own category strategies, run RFIs/RFPs, and negotiate favorable terms.

You will partner with legal and business teams to ensure value for money and compliance, while driving a scalable global sourcing model. The role offers hybrid working in London, a comprehensive rewards package, and ample development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or related discipline.
• Experience across Professional Services, Corporate Services, Marketing/Client Services, and HR/Employee Services spend.
• Experience implementing contingent workforce strategy and governance.
• Proven ability to lead sourcing events and commercial negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze pricing, rate cards, and TCO.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, HR, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Sound judgment and professionalism with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned to business priorities and budgets.
• Lead sourcing events (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) and negotiate with suppliers.
• Own renewal planning, identify consolidation opportunities, and manage pricing risk.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure value for money and service levels.
• Support legal and professional services spend management through panel strategy and cost controls.
• Manage spend across multiple categories including professional, corporate, marketing, and HR services.
• Develop and implement a contingent workforce strategy with governance.
• Analyze spend, contracts, and supplier data to identify savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, HR and other teams on contract strategy.
• Track sourcing pipeline, savings delivery, and renewal status; report outcomes.
• Build strong supplier relationships and contribute to procurement playbooks and governance.
