Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an Assistant Workforce Planning Manager in Derby to support resourcing across multi-site projects within our Power T&D business function. The role focuses on managing demand, allocation, and future staffing needs in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in workforce management or recruitment, with strong organisational and communication skills. Hybrid working is offered, with initial in-office onboarding and ongoing collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Background in workforce management, resource planning, or agency/in-house recruitment.
• Experience in construction, civil engineering, power, or infrastructure is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Resourcing & Allocation: Capture, log, and manage project demand for staff to project sites.
• Future Planning: Assist in delivering strategic workforce plans to align capacity with needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with delivery teams, recruitment, and external labor suppliers/subcontractors.
• Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate workforce capacity and demand data for decisions.
• Compliance & Tracking: Manage change requests and ensure ATRs and orders are in place before mobilisation.
