Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a care and residential developer seeking an Assistant Town Planner to join a dynamic planning team in Reigate. You will help deliver a portfolio of residential and mixed-use schemes, supporting planning applications, site appraisals, and feasibility studies.

• Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications and pre-application enquiries.
• Undertake site appraisals, planning policy research, and development feasibility assessments.
• Support the preparation of planning statements, reports and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with local planning authorities, consultants, and external stakeholders.
• Assist in promotion of strategic land opportunities.
• Attend site visits, client meetings and stakeholder consultations.
• Monitor planning applications and contribute to appeals where required.
• Maintain accurate project records and support general project coordination.
