Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Anglian Water team in Lincoln with hybrid working. You will support the commercial team to deliver contract outcomes, manage financial performance, and maintain strong client relationships.

You will be responsible for cost reporting, procurement, cash flow management, and collaboration with operations to ensure accurate budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar commercial role within construction or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of commercial and business concepts.
• Experience with NEC contracts or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret and respond to contract issues.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support production of cost value reconciliation reports and forecasts.
• Manage subcontract procurement to ensure best value and minimise risk.
• Contribute to cash flow forecasts and maximise project cash collection.
• Assist with monthly client applications and final accounts.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate reporting and budgeting.
