Job summary

Adele Carr Recruitment Limited is hiring an Assistant Management Accountant for their Altrincham office. You will support the accounts team with management accounts, VAT returns, bank reconciliations and supplier payments.

Working 9:00am–5:00pm, 1-hour lunch; permanent, full-time role. Initially office-based during probation, with hybrid working available after. AAT/QBE-qualified candidates with VAT experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in producing management accounts and reports.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numbers.
• Experience with VAT returns and supplier payments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Post management fees, VAT entries and related adjustments.
• Prepare monthly management accounts for review by Financial Controller.
• Support broader accounts team with finance queries.
