Forrest Recruitment advertises a Management Accountant role based in Altrincham. The position supports the financial controller, ensuring day-to-day bookkeeping, cashflow forecasting, supplier invoices and month-end processes.

The ideal candidate is AAT qualified or equivalent with at least two years’ accounting experience, strong Excel and Xero skills, and solid UK GAAP knowledge. Hybrid working and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience in accounting role preferred.
• Able to reliably commute to Altrincham.
• Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables and conditionals.
• Solid UK GAAP knowledge and HMRC regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist the financial controller with monthly management accounts and board pack prep.
• Support external accountant with year-end accounts preparation.
• Process supplier invoices and manage supplier payment runs.
• Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts.
• Manage accruals, pre-payments, fixed asset register and depreciation.
• Support directors with analysis and information for decision making.
• Assist with annual and half-year budget reviews.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the wider business.
