Job summary

NC Associates are partnering with a successful and growing organisation based in Trafford Park to recruit an experienced Assistant Management Accountant into their finance team. This role offers scope to develop technical accounting and commercial finance exposure within a busy, supportive function.

Reporting into the senior finance team, you will help produce monthly management accounts, perform reconciliations and financial analysis, and work with stakeholders across the business to support

Qualifications

• Experience in Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of month-end accounting processes.
• Experience producing management accounts and financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts preparation.
• Support month-end close and deadlines.
• Prepare and post journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts.
• Produce monthly management information and reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support VAT returns and statutory reporting.
