Job summary

Amey is recruiting a Permanent Assistant Buildings & Civils Engineer to join the AIW/CVL team in Treforest. Hybrid work with a minimum of two days in the office/site and a 37.5 hour week. The role supports delivery of inspection, maintenance and project works across CVL Building and Civil Infrastructure assets.

You will assist with maintenance planning, asset renewal, safety improvements, and stakeholder coordination while using MAXIMO data to drive asset performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in railway buildings and civils maintenance/assessment
• Familiar with HSE/Quality/Environmental procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist development and implementation of annual maintenance plans
• Assist asset renewal remits
• Identify and implement safety and performance improvements
• Ensure compliance with management assurance processes
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
• Manage and analyse Maximo asset data
• Liaise with CAFA team for assessments
• Manage abnormal load requests under supervision
